My Approach

Collaborative

I partner closely with public health teams, emergency managers, volunteers, and community organizations to develop solutions that work in real-world settings. My approach centers shared expertise, transparent communication, and strong relationship-building. Together, we create systems that are practical, sustainable, and community-driven.

Inclusive

Accessibility and equity guide every aspect of my work. By integrating disability, access, and functional needs (DAFN) into planning, training, and exercises, I help organizations plan for the whole community. My lived experience as a wheelchair user, service dog user, and DAFN advocate informs a thoughtful, person-centered approach.

Practical & Action-Orientated

Every project I take on is results-driven. Whether developing a communication plan or facilitating a functional exercise, I focus on strengthening systems, improving coordination, and supporting measurable improvements in preparedness. I help organizations turn goals into practical steps that make communities safer.
